House sitting has been the heart and soul of my incredible six-year adventure, taking me to 10 countries, 40 homes, and allowing me to care for over 45 animals. This unique journey as a professional house sitter has not only allowed me to travel the world but has also enriched my life in countless ways.
I have looked after animals and homes in New Zealand, Australia, Italy, France, Greece, Montenegro, Malaysia, Thailand, Ireland, The UK, and a cat on a catamaran in the Caribbean!

The House Sitting Passion: My journey began with a deep passion for travel. I had already explored various corners of the globe independently before discovering this unique way of life.
I was drawn to the idea of not just seeing new places but truly immersing myself in them by house sitting. The prospect of caring for different homes and the pets that came with them was both thrilling and deeply satisfying.

Discovering a Passion for Travel: My love for adventure and exploration was the spark that ignited my remarkable journey. Before embarking on my house sitting odyssey, I had already explored various countries.
But there was always that missing piece—the feeling of being truly at home, of forming deep connections not just with people but with animals too.
The Birth of the Traveling House Sitter: What sets my journey apart from conventional travelers is my deep-rooted love for food, wine, markets, animals, and immersing myself in diverse cultures. In 2015, I took a bold step by booking a one-way ticket to London, kickstarting my journey as a house sitter.
Over the next two years, I not only explored 25 different countries across Europe and Africa but also developed an insatiable passion for culinary delights and travel while living and working in London.

The Missing Companionship: While my travels were awe-inspiring, I began to feel something was missing—the companionship of animals. Growing up with dogs, cats, fish, and birds had instilled in me a deep love for creatures big and small.
Balancing a nomadic lifestyle with pet ownership seemed challenging until I stumbled upon the concept of house sitting through a friend’s recommendation.
The House Sitting Adventure Continues: My initial house-sitting experience, just down the road from my London flat, was a resounding success. This newfound passion prompted me to explore more house-sitting opportunities, and soon I found myself house sitting my way around Dublin while working full-time. The positive experiences in Ireland solidified my resolve to take this unique path even further.
The Path to Freedom: To fully embrace the house-sitting lifestyle, I realized the importance of upskilling myself to work online. This shift in my career provided me with the freedom to house-sit anywhere in the world without any strings attached.

In the span of six years, my journey as a house sitter has been nothing short of extraordinary. Through my adventures, I’ve not only explored the globe but also discovered the profound joy of connecting with animals and the warmth of diverse cultures.
